The Best Transformer Toys

Transformer Toys were mainly produced by Hasbro, and they bring to “life” the robots known as the Autobots and the Decepticons in the Transformers universe. These toys were created originally and made by Takara Tomy, a Japanese company. Hasbro bought the rights in 1984, and now distribute the toys in North America. Eventually Hasbro purchased the whole line of Transformer toys, including copyrights and branding rights, while giving Takara the right to produce and distribute the toys in Japan.

The idea behind Transformers is that each toy can be changed from a robot action figure to an animal, a device or a vehicle, and then back. They were advertised with the taglines that reflected this ability, those being “Robots in Disguise” and “More than Meets the Eye”.

Transformer toys are divided like the series is, between the Autobots, the heroic good guys, and the Decepticons, their evil opponents. They are known as Cybertrons and Destrons in Japan. You can select various price points of Transformers universe toys, and various toys can use unique features for play.
