Transformers Revenge of the Fallen Plot

Revenge of the Fallen takes place two years after the events of its predecessor.  Optimus Prime is leading an exclusive special forces unit with his Autobots as well as American and British troops to find any Decepticons who are still lurking on Earth.

Sam Witwicky finds a small splinter of the All Spark that was previously destroyed and as soon as he makes contact, Cybertronian symbols flood into his mind.  He assumes it’s dangerous so he gives it to Mikaela (his girlfriend) to keep safe while he leaves her and his Autobot car named Bumblebee behind to head off to college.

When Sam arrives at college in Revenge of the Fallen, he meets Leo, his new roommate who happens to run a website dedicated to alien conspiracy as well as Alice who is very much into him.

Meanwhile, Soundwave, a Decepticon, discovers where Megatron is as well a piece of the All Spark, after hacking into a satellite.  Ravage and Reedman resurrect Megatron by using the retrieved shard and he flies into space to reunite with The Fallen.  This Decepticon leader tells Megatron and Starscream that they must capture Sam to find out where the Matrix of the Leadership is.

Sam calls Mikaela in Revenge of the Fallen and as soon as she knows he needs help she heads to his college, only to arrive at the exact moment Alice is putting the moves on him.  Of course, Alice is a Decepticon who Mikaela is more than happy to destroy.  Unfortunately, Grinder (Decepticon) captures the couple and delivers them to Megatron.  Thankfully, Optimus Prime and Bumblebee save them before Sam’s brain is removed.  During their efforts, Optimus Prime is killed.

Now in Revenge of the Fallen, Megatron orders an assault on the planet and The Fallen says that if Sam is not delivered to them, they will destroy the world.  Sam, Mikaela and Leo as well as Bumblebee, Wheelie and the twins regroup to form a plot on how to fight the Decepticons, save the world and revive Optimus Prime.  They decide they have to head to the Matrix of the Leadership and dust that they gather from inside will be able to bring the Autobot leader back to life.

When the military arrives with Prime’s body and the rest of the Autobots, so do the Decepticons and battle begins.  Several vehicles unite together and form Devastator, the largest Transformer yet!  Sam manages to revive Prime right before they’re ambushed by The Fallen.  Jetfire sacrifices his life for Optimus and now that the leader is upgraded, he blasts away Megatron and The Fallen.

Transformers Revenge of the Fallen ends with Optimus Prime thanking Sam for being brave enough to save his life and then sending another message into space to find more lost Autobots.
